STK is a large and trendy American steakhouse that uniquely combines fine dining with a perfect chic lounge ambience. The STK at Rixos Premium 
Dubai was the first STK restaurant in the United Arab Emirates and fully complements the stylish Rixos 5 star hotel in which it is situated. 
Rixos Premium describes itself as the most stylish urban hotspot located in the heart of Dubai’s Jumeirah Beach Residence. 

New York-inspired STK restaurants are famous for their interior design. They blend the aesthetics of an industrial-chic warehouse with the more refined design elements associated with premium venues. 
The challenge was to provide long-lasting materials with pleasing aesthetics that would match the unique and futuristic look and feel of STK. They also needed to combine good acoustics with good insulation.
Good acoustics was a particularly important consideration as the 13,000 sq ft restaurant has several bars, resident DJ, and seating for 220 diners. 

The solution was to use Heraklith® Wood Wool insulation panels for the ceiling to provide a high quality and attractive finish at the same time as having good sound absorption and insulation properties.
The A2 fire classification and high fire resistance properties of the panels are also an essential requirement for any such entertainment venue.
The open surface structure of the Heraklith® panels ensure excellent acoustic properties, and because they are manufactured from natural and sustainable materials, they provide a particularly eco-friendly solution. All the panels were made from certified wood.
